Courage is not the absence of fear, it is the conquest of it” – Frank Bettger in How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling.

“Nobody will remember the times you struck out in the early innings if you hit a home run with the bases full in the ninth.  Failures mean nothing at all if success comes eventually.  And that’s a thought that should cheer you up and help you keep on keeping on when the going seems hard.”

“Keep going!  Each week, each month, you are improving.  One day soon, you will find a way to do the things that today looks impossible.  It was Shakespere who wrote:  ‘Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.'”

Throughout the past 4 years, I have encountered many failures.  Along with those failures came successes.  I continue to grow – one step at a time, testing out what works and what doesn’t.  I keep moving forward.

It would have been so easy to quit, and quite honestly, there are days I thought of giving up.  Why didn’t I throw in the towel and work a full-time job?  When one has a passion and a vision that is so strong and so clear, there is an inner knowing that with a laser focus, all one has to do is become very still, listen and follow and the vision will come into reality.

Rather than stay with the security of a full-time job, I quit mine.  I could no longer split my focus between working a job and the passion and vision that grew stronger and stronger with each passing day!  I know deep down, with an inner knowing, why I am here, who I am to serve and what that looks like.

Let’s support each other in embracing the failures we face along the way while growing our business, learn from them and move forward!
